Majlis in Iran Iran MP: Interior Minister receives yellow card for hijab situation Fatemeh Rahbar, leader of the women’s faction in the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament), said regarding the yellow card given to the Interior Minister by MPs: “The Majlis’ yellow card to Rahmani Fazli was for the condition of hijab and modesty (law) in the society and not for ministry management.” The head of the women’s faction in the Islamic Council of Representatives continued: “We urge the Ministry of Interior and its officials to consider a budget for the implementation of hijab and modesty (law) and to mention this issue in the bill.” (Asr-e Iran News Agency – July 14, 2014)
