Protest in Mashhad against acid attack Iran: protest in Mashhad against acid attacks Around noon today (Saturday, October 25, 2014) a group of women and youth gathered in ’Mellat Park’ in Mashhad to protest the recent acid attacks on women. The protesters condemned this abhorrent act which is instigated and supported by the mullahs’ regime. While the number of protesters was increasing every minute, the suppressive state security guards raided the park out of fear of the protest would eventually turn in to a wider demonstration.
