Iran: Pol prisoner on hunger strike

Political prisoner and labor rights activists Shahrokh Z Political prisoner and labor rights activists Shahrokh Zamani surpassed his 30th day of hunger strike on Saturday, April 5th. He has been on hunger strike from March 8th in solidarity with Dervish prisoners and was transferred from Gohardasht Prison, west of Tehran, to Ghezel Hesar Prison in the city of Karaj. He first started a 3-day hunger strike and continued protesting being held in exile in detention. He is demanding to be returned to Gohardasht Prison. On the 28th day of his hunger strike he had already lost 17 kilograms of his weight and time and again was placed under I.V. injection and taken to the prison clinic due to his weak physical condition. http://www.mojahedin.org/newsen/27572/
