Iran passenger plane crash near Tehran airpaort At least 48 killed as a passenger airline crashed near Tehran airport Iran television reported that at 09:18 local time on Sunday an Iranian passenger plane belonging to Sepahan airlines crashed near Azadi Stadium close to Tehran Mehrabad international airport. Preliminary reports indicate that at least 48 people including 8 children have been killed.
