Gold retailers in Isfahan are continuing their strike into Tuesday, June 3rd, protesting the lowering price of gold, reports from this city indicate. Furthermore, employees of Isfahan’s bus company – who have been on strike because of their delayed paychecks and also not receiving any responses about their wages – continued their strike on Tuesday, June 3rd. Simultaneously, over 500 rock cutting retailers in Isfahan – who were on strike up to May 20th and went on strike again on Saturday, May 24th – continued their strike on Tuesday, June 3rd. This second strike staged by these workers came protesting the hollow promises given by regime officials and the workers’ demands not being met.
