Iran under Rouhani again on execution rampage

Executions skyrocketing in Iran under ‘moderate’ Rouhani Rouhani’s regime in Iran on Saturday, May 10th, sent 14 inmates of Ghezel Hesar Prison to the gallows in a group execution. These prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement the day before their executions. It is worth noting that 3 of these victims were Afghan nationals. The mullahs’ regime in Iran executed a prisoner in public in the town of Save located southwest of Tehran. This prisoner was charged with murdering a member of the regime’s repressive police. According to other news the mullahs’ authorities also transferred 4 death row inmates in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj to solitary confinement on Thursday, May 8th. This was in preparation for their executions. Eight political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, went on hunger strike on Friday, May 9th, marking the fourth anniversary of the execution of five Kurdish political prisoners by the names of Shirin Alam Holi, Farzad Kamangar, Mehdi Islami, Farhad Vakili and Ali Heidari. Their hunger strike was also in protest of the continuous executions of political prisoners and group executions by the inhumane mullahs’ regime. The names of the political prisoners on hunger strike are Shahrokh Zamani, Nosseh Yousefi, Saeed Masouri, Hamid Reza Borhani, Batirshah Mohammadaf, Afshin Heiratian, Khaled Hardati and Mehdi Abiat.
