Turkey forces alongside Syria border
US President Barack Obama discussed deepening the war against ISIS in a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Al Jazeera TV reported on Thursday.
A White House statement in this regard reads the two parties agreed to prevent foreign nationals rushing to the Syria-Turkey border from joining this group.
Turkish newspapers wrote security forces have spread their units along the border with Syria while commanders of special forces have also been dispatched to the region.
