Orient News, Jan. 28, 2017 – Syrian Opposition fighters repelled a new offensive launched by Hezbollah terrorists and the allied Shiite militias in the last hours on the town of Ain al-Fijeh in Damascus western countryside, Orient News correspondent said.
The Shiite militias’ offensive was launched from more than one axis. Assad regime’s helicopters also dropped at least 40 barrel bombs on the residential areas of the town, the media office of Wadi Barada said.
The opposition fighting groups’ leaders, who held talks in Astana on 23 and 24 of January, repeatedly spoke to the press about what was taking place in Wadi Barada as a manifest proof of Assad terrorists’ flagrant violations of the Russian Turkish Syria ceasefire reached on the 30th of December in 2016.
